T20 Cricket World Cup
England’s first game today. Windies having an absolute mare at the moment. 44-6 off 10 overs, but they could still make it respectable.

England still have a chance to mess it up though, I am sure…

Thats because:
They don't appear on camera
Or get punished

Though Alistair Cook did WEEP tears of relief when he realised his retirement meant he didn't have to play in the 2019 Ashes

One twat called Svennie, it's you going all capsy on this thread, and I doubt very much actual Australians share much of your view on things, hence not many join in with your pommie style 'bantz'......

Re: T20 Cricket World Cup
You've got to love One twat called Svennie, he trying his best to tar England with offences of racism and saying we are protecting certain players, when he has fake loyalty to country where the racists shouldn't even be there handing out their racism in the first place AND they nicked the land off the indigenous and have packed them off into barren shitholes......hope all this carries on as nations like Australia should be very worried when getting cocky about this kind of thing as their land doesn't belong to them........see South Africa etc......

....Svennie is a bit.......he who cast the first stone about all this whilst sitting pretty having lived most his life over here as an Englishman.

Lets see what the ECB come up with next week. That should put it back in the papers.

Usual public schoolboy waffle & the previous plan of wearing t-shirts saying how beastly racism is I expect. While choirboy Alistair Cook will lead the Lords Test Saturday members in a rendition of Kumbaya.
JOB DONE

Ha ha , bit rich coming from a New Zealander
Has to be another step towards Alex Carey coming into the Test team. RESULT!

THANK GOD ALL THIS NONSENSE ABOUT RACISM IS OVER.

Has anyone told the ECB or are they still going ahead with their 12 point plan next week?
Understand the revised point one (& only point) is county teams wearing t-shirts pre match with 'WHATS YOUR PROBLEM, KEVIN?' on the front & 'I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU BLACKS & BROWNS WAN'T' on the back.

Tim Paine’s brother-in-law forced out of Cricket Tas over sexting probe with same woman: report

Tim Paine’s brother-in-law, former Tasmanian Shield cricketer Shannon Tubb, was reportedly forced out of Cricket Tasmania amid a sexting probe involving the same woman that Paine was involved with, reports the Herald Sun.

It’s alleged Tubb left his coaching position after investigations into X-rated messages sent to the woman, a junior staffer, who former Australian Test captain Paine sent an unsolicited photo of his genitalia to.

Tubb is married to Paine’s sister.

After he left Cricket Tasmania, Tubb was appointed as coach of the first XI at Adelaide’s Prince Alfred College.

In August, an NT News article suggested Tubb was involved with the Cricket Australia XI in a development role.

Cricket Tasmania’s investigation into Tubb’s texts took place in mid-2018 as did Cricket Australia’s inquiry into Paine’s messages.

Paine was at the time cleared of a code of conduct breach, but CA has since conceded it was a mistake not to sack Paine.

In response to the Herald Sun, Tubb said: “There’s no comment on that at all mate, I’m sorry”.

Cricket Tasmania said: “Cricket Tasmania won’t be responding to any of your questions above”, but Cricket Australia said it had been told about the investigation into Tubb.

Let's see.

Rafiq is a confirmed, by his own words and deeds, anti semite, racist and creepy sex pest with teenage girls.

He also, despite apparently being offended, signed up to play for this racist institution for a second time.
He says he was force fed alcohol, but was a known pisshead on the county scene.
He says the pca deserted him when he was suicidal. But used them for an interview last year promoting his business.

Watching you and the rest of the woke movement double down on your stupidity is very entertaining, I must say. You seem to have as much of a problem with honesty as your pin up, so I suppose you being comfortable bedfellows makes sense.

Yeah, you're alright, I'm not really interested in anything he has to say

Obviously Rafiq is a flawed character but what beyond his MEW CUPPA do you think he should be asked?
I get the impression you are more interested in denigrating his behaviour and character than having any interest in his claims as he 'drags England cricket down'.
Do you think he should have just shut up and not complained or he should have just accepted the Yorkshire enquiry result and believed that being called a Paki was BANTER?

I'm not sure what the relevance of Australian treatment of aboriginals is to how clubs like Yorkshire have dealt with issues of race is but it is true that cricket in Australia isnt particularly welcoming to 'outsiders'. There are more players of Asian heritage in the SHEFFIELD SHIELD these days but I think its interesting that the Aboriginal players who have are or are now playing (Gillespie, Dan Christian, D'Arcy Short, Brendan Doggett etc) are light skinned compared to the 'obviously' Aboriginal players that are common in AFL.

Re: T20 Cricket World Cup
Actually, Sven, as a professional hack I say Rafiq’s mew cuppa is NOT enough considering what he has just dragged English cricket through.

There are still MANY questions he has not been asked by a dangerously wokish and unchallenging media.

His story has holes all over it, and several broadcasters instead allowed him to keep trashing the reputations of others unchallenged - all while the evidence showed he was among the worst offenders.

Whether people like it or not, it’s the job of journalists to ask uncomfortable questions.

"Was pleased to see Alex Hales delivered his statement via a video message rather than the often scripted written apologies issued without the person speaking the words.
Ideally would be in person with questioning afterwards but its a start."

I wasn't. Giving in to a baying mob of brainless imbeciles isn't progress. He's perfectly entitled to go to a fancy dress party as Tupac. And he would have looked fucking ridiculous if he went with a white face. Nothing remotely offensive about what he did, unless you spend your life desperately looking to take offence at things.

In fact, it would have been more offensive if he hadn't bothered, and claimed he was white Tupac.

I'm yet to see anything from Rafiq apologising for his outright mockery of black people, his genuinely racist statements rather than a fucking fancy dress costume. All he did was hurriedly delete the relevant posts when they started doing the rounds.
